Radcliffe On Trent Swan Update - ![]()
We have been advised by the volunteers that our Radcliffe swans are recovering well and have been released into a fenced paddock to get back up to full strength before being released. The sanctuary are going to give us a call when they are ready - I have asked for a more recent picture and will share when we can.

We have had several residents contacting the council r.e. flooding at Wharf Lane and the surrounding fields so we wanted to provide an update. We have met with two teams from Severn Trent and asked for their findings to be emailed across. ![]()

In addition to this, I have reached out to NCC Principal Officer for Flood Risk Management to ask for further support to explore ways of preventing this in the future. ![]()

An update on Rockley Memorial Park, unfortunately there was an incident in the early hours of this morning resulting in tyre marks across the grass and borders. The Parish Council have been in touch with the police and shared CCTV. We have since been informed that an arrest was made and the vehicle seized.![]()

Nottinghamshire Police are dealing with the incident. Our grounds team will do everything we can to restore the area as soon as possible as we know how important this space is for our community.
We are aware of issues with the culvert at Wharf Lane. Please take care and avoid the water as there may be hazards below. Special thanks to our Flood Wardens Radcliffe on Trent who have helped the Parish Council to cordon off the area.
