Parish Council Team

In the recent years, the Parish Council has undergone a large restructuring within the staff team, redefining roles and needs to support a more efficient way to operate. As a result, our grounds team is better equipped to look after our parks and has been able to bring back some activities in-house rather than outsource them.

We have also been undertaking a digital upgrade and gaining more ownership over our digital presence and communication strategy. This helps us connect with the residents better and get the community engaged with what we do and upcoming projects.

Safety and Security

To help address vandalism, the council has invested in a wider CCTV coverage in the past years. This helps us look after our assets and we can collaborate much more effectively with the police when incidents happen. If you witness suspicious activities or anti-social behaviour, please report to the police by calling 101.

Grange and Grange Hall

Our Grange and Grange Hall Community Center is serving everyone in the community, from dance lessons to theater productions to local charities feeding our vulnerable and isolated residents. We’re currently exploring how to upgrade the theater equipment so it can serve our customers better, and we are also looking at how we can operate more efficiently and more sustainably.

Environment and Biodiversity

Alongside our restructuring, we are putting in place sustainability actions and recycling initiatives, such as recycling bins special plastics and metals, blister packs, and we also organise littler picking events. We continue to review and make improvements and we will share our efforts as we go in our newsletter.

We’re also collaborating with Rushcliffe Borough Council to increase tree planting across Radcliffe on Trent. We also support community gardening with 2 areas dedicated to community allotments.
